New Bedford crash kills 2, injures 3

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — A crash on Interstate 195 East in New Bedford Friday morning resulted in two deaths and three people needing to be taken to the hospital.

Massachusetts State Police said the crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. near exit 24A.

A vehicle carrying five people rolled over, which resulted in the injuries and fatalities.

State police said the incident is still under investigation.
