New Bedford man arrested, charged for Dartmouth break-in

DARTMOUTH, M.A. – A New Bedford man with five outstanding arrest warrants was arrested for breaking and entering into a multi-family home Sunday night.

According to the Dartmouth Police Department, 32-year-old Cristhian Escobar was arrested after officers found him hiding inside a bedroom closet at a home on Rogers Street around 10:30 p.m.

Escobar, of North Street in New Bedford, was charged with breaking and entering, and trespassing.

Police noted no one was in the apartment at the time that Escobar broke in.
