New Bedford man arrested for gun possession

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department arrested a man for gun crimes on Oct. 27.

Christopher Bartolomey was charged with possession of a large-capacity firearm and ammunition without a license.

The 36-year-old was alleged to have been in possession of a 9mm Taurus along with a magazine of ammunition.

Bartolomey was the target of a Organized Crime Intelligence Bureau search warrant at his home.
