New Bedford man charged in sports bar stabbing

An arrest has been made in the stabbing of man at a New Bedford sports bar last week.

Police arrested 29-year-old Robert Geliga on charges of Armed Assault and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon charges.

Geliga is accused stabbing a man four times during a fight at the Dublin’s Sports bar on Acushnet Avenue. The victims wounds were non-life threatening.
