New Bedford PD warn of porch pirates

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — New Bedford Police are warning residents of a spike in porch pirates in the city.

Officials said that since the start of the month, they’ve received numerous reports of people dressed as Amazon drivers taking packages off their doorsteps.

Officials have said that you should always track your orders and plan to be around when it arrives.

If you can’t, they suggest investing in a doorbell camera.
