New Bedford police arrest man for trafficking fentanyl

NEW BEDFORD, M.A. – According to The New Bedford Police Department, 120 grams of fentanyl has been seized by the narcotics unit.
Authorities say 29-year-old Juan Velez, of Roxbury was arrested on Thursday, after he was pulled over by officers on Aquidneck St, and 120 grams of fentanyl, as well as $361 was found in his vehicle.
Officers were investigating Velez, for suspicions of selling fentanyl through a delivery service in New Bedford.
