New Bedford Police cruiser involved in crash

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said a police cruiser was involved in a crash on Sunday.

The crash occurred on Ashley Boulevard and Earle Street around 4:30 p.m.

The cruiser was responding to a call for assistance when the crash occurred.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital for evaluation and the crash is under investigation.
