New Bedford Police Department seeking applicants for 2024

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)  — The New Bedford Police Department is seeking applicants to join their department.

The department said positions available include those for municipal police officers, MBTA Transit Police officers and State Troopers.

Officials said interested applicants to sign up for their “entry level exam,” and can do so until January 16.

After Jan. 16, exams begin March 16 and will run through March 30. There is also an exam fee of $75 for all positions. A fee waiver form is also available here.

Applications submitted after Jan. 30, will not be accepted.
