New Bedford police investigating after body found in park

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)- The New Bedford Police Department is investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a public park.

Police said that the body was found in Riverside park on Thursday afternoon.

The department noted in a Facebook post that there are no obvious signs of foul play.

Investigators have not released the victim’s name to the public.
