Members of the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau at the department raided both apartments and the garage located at 1934 Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford. The raid was the result of a drug distribution service investigation.

James Oliver, 45, who was the target of the investigation, was arrested without incident outside the home. Police seized 65 grams of heroin, 301 Oxycodone tablets, 60 methadone pills, a small bag of cocaine, packaging materials and over $27,700 in cash.
