New Bedford police respond to reported assault involving knife

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — An alleged assault involving a knife in New Bedford led to an early morning police presence.

The incident occurred at 331 Middle St in New Bedford with an argument between tenants, and Raymond Carmona, 38, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The victim’s injuries were non life-threatening.
