NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said the boy reported missing on Monday was found safe.

Police said the boy was last seen near Austin Street and Shawmut Avenue around 2 p.m. on Monday.

Just a few hours after he was reported missing, police said he was found safe.
