New Bedford to start mosquito spraying

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Health Department has started its weekly ground spraying to kill mosquitos.

In partnership with Bristol County Mosquito Project will target parks and other locations that host large public events.

The sprayings will take place between 2 a.m. and sunrise every Thursday.

New Bedford officials do suggest that people who live near those areas should close their windows before the sprayings.
