UPDATE: Woman sought for alleged bomb threats arrested

NEW BEDFORD, M.A. (WLNE) – A woman accused of making numerous bomb threats has been arrested Massachusetts State Police announced on Friday.
Heather Perkins, 37, was arrested around 9:15 p.m., on Talbot Avenue in Dorchester without incident.
Police said Perkins was the subject of eight warrants for making bomb threats, including one threat that caused New Bedford City Hall to be evacuated for a short time.
Approximately 25 police departments as well as the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Bridgewater State University and Springfield College have received threats.
No further information is available at this time.
