New consumer protection law would bring dental insurer transparency
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Thursday at the State House house lawmakers will consider the “Fair Share for Dental Care Act.”
It’s a consumer protection bill that aims to protect patients by increasing transparency and accountability for dental insurers while ensuring more patient premiums go to patient care.
Today dentists from across the Ocean State and members of the Rhode Island Dental Association are expected to join state lawmakers to discuss the proposal.
That’s happening at the State House at 1 p.m. Thursday.
