New England Wind project approved by President Biden
MARTHA’S VINEYARD, Mass. (WLNE) — President Joe Biden has approved the latest offshore wind project in Massachusetts.
The facility dubbed “New England Wind” will be off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard.
It will be built in two phases and the project will bring 62 wind turbines to the area which according to the energy company in charge of the project will generate enough power to run 400,000 homes and businesses in the Massachusetts.
