New traffic pattern for work on Route 146 in North Smithfield
NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said that work on Route 146A South will require a closure and new traffic pattern.
Work will occur from 9 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. on Nov. 18.
Route 146 North will be reduced to one lane of travel at Route 146A.

Beginning tonight at 9 p.m. through Monday at 6 a.m., Route 146A South at Route 146 in North Smithfield will be closed for demolition associated with the reconstruction of this interchange. During this time, RIDOT will also reduce Route 146 North to one lane… pic.twitter.com/pwLyJFwjOm

A detour using Smithfield Road and Greenville Road to access Route 146 North or South will also be in place.
