Newport Historical Society reenacts Paul Revere’s ride for 250th anniversary

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Newport Historical Society recognized the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride with a reenactment Friday.

The reenactment was the kickoff of a program of events celebrating the anniversary of the Revolutionary War.

The event took place at the Colony House, which was Rhode Island State House during the time of the revolution.
