Newport Mansions offering free admission on MLK Day

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Preservation Society of Newport County said it will be offering free general admission to the Newport Mansions on Monday, Jan. 15 to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The society said that the Breakers will be open for self-guided tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Rosecliff will be open for self-guided tours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All other mansions are closed for the season.
