Newport police seek help to find ATM Skimmer

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Newport Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find a man involved in an ATM skimming crime.

Newport Police released photos on their Facebook of an unidentified man accused of ATM skimming sometime between September, 7th, 2016, and September, 10th, 2016.

Police say card  information is skimmed onto a device and subsequently used to make fraudulent purchases.

Authorities encourage anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of this man to call Detective Jason Head at 401-847-1306, ext.5756
