Newport Secret Garden Tour calls for volunteers

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Newport Secret Garden Tour is looking for volunteers for the upcoming June tours which will take place in the city’s historic Point Section.

These beautiful gardens will be available for volunteers to tour June 28-30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The gardens, primarily maintained by its owners, are shared with the community to help raise funds for the arts programs in the local schools.

Volunteers will receive a complementary ticket for the tour to visit all 12 lovely gardens.

Two hosts are assigned per garden, for a three hour shift.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
