Newport to raise Pride flag at City Hall

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of Newport will hold a ceremony to raise the Pride flag at City Hall on Friday.

The flag will be raised at 5 p.m. to recognize Pride month.

Pride month runs throughout June to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

The city will hold Pride weekend later this month. It will run June 24-26.
