Newton husband suing driver in deadly crash

NEWTON, MASS. — The husband of a woman killed in the sweet tomatoes crash earlier this year is suing the driver.

The wrongful death lawsuit claims Bradford Casler, the driver, was negligent when he crashed into the Newton restaurant back in March.

Prosecutors say Casler was speeding and ran a red light before he crashed into the packed restaurant around dinnertime.

Elanor Miele and another man were killed and several others were injured.
