ABC6 spoke to a local terror expert Friday evening about how ISIS ties in to the recent Nice Attacks.

At this point, the Nice Attack does not look to be affiliated with any terror groups, but that does not mean they will not benefit from the chaos.

Nicholas Glavin, a terror researcher at the naval war college, tells ABC6 France is spending up to one million Euros a day on upped security. A number he says is not sustainable.

"Even though this attack has no signs of being directed or inspired by ISIS, the group will love all of the benefits they receive from this. Not only will they receive media attention, this is all exactly what these jihadist groups want. An economic slow bleed of these European countries, which in the long term benefits them even though there are no direct ties to ISIS.

France is extending its state of emergency that has been in place since terror attacks in France last November.
