Nice first day of summer, long term pattern muggy and murky
Another cool day across the area with highs failing to reach 70 in many spots. Thus has been the case much of the month of June.
While it will be a nice first day of summer tomorrow, temperatures will once again be on the cooler side of average.
A large low pressure system currently over the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys will begin to push showers in our direction beginning Thursday.
It will also bring in some much more humid air as well. This pattern won’t be changing much over the next week.
Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms each day through the weekend and into the last week of June.
There will likely be dry time each day but you’ll need to be checking your radar frequently – this type of weather makes it very difficult for planning outdoor activities.
