Nice, mild weekend precedes second Monday rain & wind storm in a row

A widespread soaking with some gustier coastal winds is shaping up

Clear and cold tonight with lows in the 20s, but mild air arrives tomorrow with afternoon highs around 50° – and plenty of sun.

Saturday will be another stellar day with sun and near 50°. Clouds will thicken on Sunday ahead of a coastal storm.

Rain and wind are not expected to begin across the area until area until after midnight Sunday.

Expect a nice dose of rain on Monday accompanied by breezy conditions. Winds at the coast will be gustiest, perhaps approaching 50 mph.

Showers may linger into Tuesday but will eventually taper off, with colder weather leading into the middle of next week.
