Nice start to the pre-holiday weekend
Three sunny, warm days in a row with no showers?! Saturday will make it a crowd as we kick off July (and for some, a longgg weekend) in style.
There will be patchy fog and low clouds early tomorrow morning, but the fog will ‘burn off’ – the correct meteorological term is ‘lift’ – during the morning, and sun will take over.
Expect a similar temperature (warm) and humidity (low) profile from Friday as well, excellent for just about anything.
Sunday… not so much. But there will be morning dry time. Expect mostly cloudy conditions, with showers approaching for the PM hours. Humidity will also be increasing.
The shower/storm chance lingers through the midweek, but the chances will begin to increase. My forecast for Independence Day calls for a warm, muggy mix of sun and clouds.
There will be a few spot storms here and there, but far from a bad day. As of now, the projections are good for firework festivities at night, but stay with ABC6 through the weekend as we fine tune that forecast.
Have a safe and fun weekend!
