Nice Thursday before rain into the weekend; frosty weather early next week

Thursday will be the nicest day this week with plenty of sun and highs in the mid-60s. Discounting about a very small chance of a sprinkle, it’ll be a very pleasant fall day.

Clouds will increase at night and rain will arrive around midday Friday. Rain will be heaviest late Friday into the overnight, giving way to cloudy skies and occasional showers for Saturday.

Sunday will be the drier day overall with partly sunny skies, but it will also be windy and cooler. Sunday night lows are likely to dip into the upper 30s, while falling even lower on Monday night.

Many parts of our area could see their first frost of the season early next week. Day time highs will reach the upper 50s.
