No arrests made in killing of 17-year-old in Providence
						
		
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — No arrests have been made in Providence’s eighth homicide of the year.
Police responded to the area of Dexter and Waldo streets at about 10 p.m. on Friday for a reported shooting.
Officers found a 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died.

His name was not released.
Loved ones set up a memorial for him by the intersection. They placed flowers, a football jersey and medal, and a candle that says, “baby boy gone too soon.”
The shooting remains under investigation.
