No arrests made in shooting death of man delivering food in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed while delivering food in Pawtucket on Friday night.

Detectives said 21-year-old Julian Garcia was shot multiple times while walking back to his car after delivering food at the intersection of Barton and Montgomery streets.

They believe Garcia, of North Providence, was targeted by multiple people.

Providence police are also investigating a fatal shooting over the weekend.

Police said a man was fatally shot by Donigan Park in the Olneyville section of the city on Saturday night.

Police in both communities are actively investigating the shootings. No arrests have been made.
