Noir Lounge open to ‘normal operations’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A spokesperson for the Providence Board of Licenses said that Noir Lounge on Union Street was reopened after an incident on July 25.
The spokesperson said that an event scheduled for Aug. 3 at the club was cancelled but the club could open for normal operations.
According to Providence police, officers responded to the club on July 25 around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a disturbance which resulted in one arrest and and an officer suffering minor injuries.
The club had all of its licenses revoked by the board until the decision on Thursday.
