North Attleborough detour extended during mill demolition

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — North Attleborough officials said that the detour put in place due to a structurally unsound building would be extended while the building is partially demolished.

The roads around the Webster Mill building, including Broadway from Richards Avenue to Bank Street, were closed on Feb. 28.

The detour will be extended to Roosevelt Avenue on Broadway beginning 9 a.m. Monday when the demolition is set to begin.

The detour will be in place on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents are being asked to avoid the area and remain at least 100 feet back from the barriers.
