North Kingstown couple takes home winning $50K instant ticket

The Rhode Island Lottery shared this photo of the couple who won the $50,000 Cash Instant Game.

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) —  The Rhode Island Lottery announced that a couple from North Kingstown are the latest winners of the “$50,000 Cash” Instant Game.

Lottery officials said the winner, Carolyn Bourgaut won the $50,000 prize but said she can’t go anywhere at the moment as she has four puppies at home.

The Rhode Island Lottery shared this photo of Bourgaut’s puppies.

Although she can’t travel at the moment, Bourgaut said she plans to use the winnings to “enjoy life.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Colbea Enterprises on Elmwood Avenue in Warwick.
