North Kingstown man killed in Exeter car crash

A North Kingstown man was killed in a single car accident on Route 165 in Exeter on Thursday.

Around 7 p.m. 38-year-old Shane Signorino was traveling on Route 165 west bound in the area of Mount Tom Road when he lost control of his vehicle and he veered off of the roadway into a telephone pole.

When police arrived they pronounced Signorino dead at the scene. Police say Signorino was not wearing a seat belt and speed was a factor during the accident.
