North Kingstown police arrest five after incident with knife at Burger King

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — North Kingstown police responded to a Post Road Burger King for an incident involving a knife on Monday.

After an investigation it was determined that a 15-year-old male subject became involved in a physical altercation with a 19-year-old male over an existing disagreement between the two.

It was reported that the 15-year-old brandished a knife, which was confirmed by police through the restaurant’s surveillance footage.

There were no reported injuries on the scene.

Five arrests were made on the scene:

  • 43-year-old Gina Myers of North Kingstown, RI for Disorderly Conduct
  • 19-year-old Theodore Sears of Providence, RI for Simple Assault and Disorderly
    Conduct
  • A 15-year-old Male of North Kingstown, RI for Felony Assault, Weapons
    Offenses and Disorderly Conduct
  • A 15-year-old Female of Foster, RI for Obstructing a Police Officer in the
    Execution of duty
  • A 12-year-old Male of North Kingstown, RI for Disorderly Conduct
