North Kingstown police say no foul play in woman’s death at Blue Beach Motel

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — North Kingstown police said there was no foul play in the death of a woman at Blue Beach Motel.

The department said Tuesday that initial findings from the Medical Examiner’s Office showed the death resulted from a medical condition.

Her name was not released. The department extended thoughts and prayers to her family.

Police launched an investigation after the woman was found dead on Saturday evening.

They had responded to the motel on Post Road for a report of an unconscious and injured person in room 120.

Police said the conditions of the scene showed a potential for a suspicious death.
