North Kingstown woman pleads not guilty in fatal crash from 2019

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) – A North Kingstown woman appeared in Kent County Superior Court and plead not guilty to charges linked to a fatal crash that happened in September of 2019.
60-year-old Barbara Trojan was arraigned on DUI of Liquor or Drugs, Resulting in Death, DUI Liquor or Drugs, Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Driving so as to Endanger Resulting in Personal Injury, and Driving so as to Endanger Resulting in Death.
Trojan turned herself in to on October 3rd for a crash she was involved in on Frenchtown Road on September 7th, where police say her car hit another car, killing North Kingstown resident, Patricia Daniels.
According to Kent County Superior, Trojan is out on $25,000 surety and will be back in court on March 18th.
