North Providence Police dispose of grenade found on Nipmuc Trail

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Providence Police Department said that it disposed of a training grenade that was found on Nipmuc Trail Thursday.

Police said the grenade was filled with pepper and was disposed of properly.

There was no danger to the public.
