Ocean State Transit responds to charges against former bus monitor
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A spokesperson for Ocean State Transit confirmed Kevin P. Langlois is no longer employed by the company.
Langlois has been accused of and charged with child molestation stemming from alleged incidents in Barrington.
ABC6 asked Ocean State Transit if they’re re-evaluating their hiring processes in response.
A spokesperson said:
“The safety and wellbeing of the students we transport is always our top priority. There is zero tolerance for actions that put students at risk.”
Langlois was arraigned Thursday, and was issued a no contact order with the alleged victims.
