Officials holding Washington Bridge briefing Thursday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Gov. Dan McKee will be joined by a number of officials to host a briefing on the Washington Bridge on March 14.

Department of Transportation Director Peter Alviti, the Governor’s Senior Deputy Chief of Staff Joseph Almond, and a representative from structural engineers McNary, Bergeron & Johannesen will join the governor for the briefing.

Officials are expected to discuss the structural analysis that has been taking place on the bridge.

The briefing will be held at 3 p.m.
