Officials ID woman involved in Fall River stabbing, shooting investigation

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials have announced that the woman involved in a stabbing and shooting incident yesterday in Fall River has died.

42-year-old Remy Aull died from a single gun shot wound to the head, according to the District Attorney.

According to officials, around 4:30 a.m., Fall River police responded to reports of an altercation at a home.

Upon arrival, officers found a 55-year-old man who had sustained multiple stab wounds to his head and neck, as well as a 42-year-old woman who had been shot in the head.

Both individuals were transported to local trauma centers.

Aull was pronounced dead around 10:00 p.m.

Officials have not released the name of the man involved in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
