UPDATE: 5 kids, 3 adults escape early morning fire in Warren
WARREN, R.I. (WLNE) — Fire officials were on scene in Warren on Coomer Avenue this morning.
A call came in around 6 a.m. for a code red fire at a two-story home.
5 kids and 3 adults did get out safely, according to officials.
The home is not livable at this point, as it has significant smoke and water damage.
The fire originated from the back of the home, and the families do have a place to stay at this time.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
