Officials say a man was shot in the face at a North Attleborough hotel

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn announced that North Attleborough police are investigating an incident of a man shot in the face at a hotel.

On Oct. 21 at approximately 10:05 p.m., North Attleborough Police responded to a 911 call that reported a person was shot at the Hampton Inn on Draper Avenue.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered that a 61-year-old man had been shot in the face in the hotel lobby.

The man’s injury was deemed non-life-threatening and was transported for medical treatment.

Preliminary investigation by police showed the victim was not the intended target of the gunfire.

The North Attleborough Police Department and Massachusetts State Police are still investigating the shooting.
