Officials to celebrate new school construction with groundbreaking of Harry Kizirian Elementary School

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Public School District (PPSD) will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Harry Kizirian Pre-K through Grade 8 school. 

The $55.2 million transformation project is part of PPSD’s commitment to modernizing, and creating high-quality learning environments for every student in the district.

The Providence Public School District unveiled the $1 billion school facility plan that aims to provide new facilities to all Providence students by 2030.

The ceremony will start at 12 p.m. on Camden Avenue.
