One dead following early morning crash on I-95

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A man has died following a crash early Monday morning on I-95, according to state police.

The crash happened near Exit 18 on I-95 South at about 5:20 a.m. when 52-year-old Roger Hall lost control of his Honda Civic. Hall veered left and hit the median.

A Ford F-150 traveling in the fast lane was unable to stop in time and crashed into the front passengers side of the Civic.

Hall was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the Ford was also transported to Rhode Island Hospital. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries and later was released.

The crash remains under investigation.
