One dead in Hopkinton motorcycle accident

HOPKINTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Hopkinton Police said they are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday night.

The crash happened on Route 216 on Ashaway Road around 5 p.m., according to officials.

Upon arrival, responders determined that the operator of the motorcycle, identified as 54-year-old Jeremy Corr of Westerly, collided with a guardrail and was ejected from his bike.

Corr was transported to Westerly Hospital, where he would eventually succumb to his injuries. Anybody with information on the crash is asked to call Hopkinton Police Detectives at 401-377-7750.
