One dead in Norton motorcycle crash

NORTON, Mass. (WLNE)- A Norton motorcycle driver died in a crash Saturday night.

Norton police said the accident happened around 9 p.m. near the intersection of  Maple Street and John Scott Blvd.

When crews arrived on scene, they were directed off of the road towards the railroad tracks by witnesses who told officers they saw a motorcycle driver crash into the guardrail.

Police said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver’s name has yet to be released by police.
