One dead in Taunton crash

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE)- Taunton Police say that a man has died as a result of a car accident on Wednesday night.

Christopher Silva, 32, was driving his Honda Civic, when he crashed into a Chevy Silverado that was turning into a Trucchi’s Supermarket parking lot.

Silva was transported to Morton Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The Silverado rolled over after being hit by Silva, but the driver, a 29-year-old Taunton woman, only suffered minor injuries.

Police say that no criminal charges have been filed in the incident.

The incident and the reconstruction effort both remain ongoing.
