One injured after assault at Opa Restaurant in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A woman has been arrested this morning following an assault on Atwells Avenue.

Providence Police said it happened around 2 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Opa Restaurant.

A man reported he was an argument with a woman when two men began hitting him in the head.

The victim was also hit in the head with a cinderblock and high heel shoe by the woman.

The woman was arrested and has not been identified at this time.
