One injured after Cranston golf cart crash

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — One man was injured after he rolled over in his golf cart at the intersection of Hall Lane and Main Street last night in Cranston.

According to officials, police responded to the scene around 8 p.m. to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a golf cart.

After rolling over in his golf cart, the operator of the vehicle suffered a laceration to his head and briefly lost consciousness.

He was taken to Kent Hospital for treatment, according to officials.
